Unlike a certain crazy comedian, John Reynolds has done his journey across The Emerald Isle only carrying a 38lb backpack. Having conquered England and Scotland, John is targeting Wales later this year. Here is some of his commentary:
“Preparing for the last big push for this amazing run tomorrow. 50 miles on tired legs up through the Connemara landscape including hopefully the mountain range.
Giving it everything now to reach that West coast beach at Cleggon and make this new dream become reality.
I've been so fortunate to meet some amazing people along the journey and be able to learn so much from them.
The countryside changes all the time along with the many miles but never loses any of its outstanding beauty. Even the torrential storms of the last few days release a curious instinct to want to see and explore even more of what this country has to offer.
A few photos to express more than I ever can with words alone.”

A number of the Harriers were in action at the Exmoor Stagger or Stumble last Sunday - see separate report - and for the first time results in either the tough, but short, Stumble counted just as much as the finishing positions in the tougher, longer Stagger for the year-long Somerset Race Series sponsored by M5 Glass. Arrangements are now also well in hand for the 2015 Series.

The League, now into its 6th year after being established by Millfield Prep teacher John Etherington in 2008, consisted of three fixtures before half-term. The Harriers are pleased to be able to sponsor this League. Top billing is taken by Sophie Mabbs & Carlie Cook for the Year 7s; Elena Sidman & Kyle Strange for the Year 8s; and E Tolley & Dylan Dukes for the Year 9s. Well done all!
