WHAT WE DO

We meet at Wells Sports and Leisure Centre before heading off together for a steady warm-up jog to the session location. Each week focuses on a different style of training (see the schedule above), designed to keep things varied and engaging. The key principles behind our Thursday sessions are to make them truly multi-ability, structured, well-publicised, sociable, and—above all—enjoyable. Sessions last around an hour, including warm-up and cool-down, and are led by an experienced run leader. Workouts are based on perceived effort, enabling runners of all paces to train together effectively. Out-and-back routes ensure the group stays connected, so no one is ever left behind.
