Nicholas Stevens

Nicholas Stevens has been running since childhood, with his early years representing Avon in the 800m and 1500m, inspired by the legendary middle-distance battles of the 1980s. Now a dedicated member of Wells City Harriers since 2021, he continues to enjoy social runs, long Sunday miles, and the occasional unexpected victory—like his V60 win at the 2024 Gwent Cross Country.

Mike Bosley

Mike discovered running as a reluctant teenager in the 1980s, but his passion for the sport truly ignited in his 30s when he began training seriously to maintain his fitness. Now a dedicated member of Wells City Harriers for nearly a decade, Mike relishes the club training sessions, local races, and the camaraderie of Parkrun, where he’s part of the 100 club. While he’s dabbled in football and cycling, it’s running that’s become his way of life.

Bernie Mundy

Co-founding Wells City Harriers with Kevin Sheppard, Bernie helped build a thriving club while achieving personal success, including PBs like a 2:40 marathon, 74-minute half, and 4:36 mile. Inspired by Steve Ovett, he favoured track sessions, half-marathons, and iconic events like the New York Marathon. His passion, camaraderie, and contributions to the Harriers remains his proudest achievements.

Dan Williams

Dan Williams has been a member of Wells City Harriers since 1993, inspired by his father, a former Harrier. After a break from running, he rediscovered his passion through Parkrun, eventually rejoining the Harriers. His notable achievements include completing the London Marathon, winning the South West 5K title, and pacing British athlete Jo Pavey to a record-setting performance.

Carol Buckland

Carol started running 21 years ago after being encouraged to join the Glastonbury Fun Run, which ignited her passion for the sport, and she joined Wells City Harriers shortly after.
