WHAT WE DO
Our Laser Run sessions build on the strong coaching environment already established at Wells City Harriers, where large numbers of juniors train regularly in a structured and supportive setting. Laser Run training is designed to complement the club’s athletics programme, giving athletes an additional challenge that develops both physical and mental skills. Sessions are delivered by qualified coach Stuart Dowden who is a PentathlonGB National Laser Run Coach for the British team. The sessions are suitable for all abilities.
Each session includes:
● Structured warm-up and running-based activities
● Laser shooting coaching, focusing on accuracy and control
● Combined run and shoot practice to simulate competition
● Skill development through progressive drills and challenges
● Opportunities to learn race tactics and pacing strategies
Sessions are designed to be engaging, inclusive and progressive, helping athletes improve week by week.
