Excellent finish at the last of the Gwent League matches & three of the Club's Hon Life Members race at the Bath Half !

The 5^th and final fixture in this season’s Gwent Cross Country League took place on Saturday (March 1^st) at Blaise Castle, Bristol. and it was great to see Harriers age 10 to almost 60 competing hard for the Club. Meanwhile on the Sunday (March 2nd) there was over a dozen Harriers out racing amongst the hordes of the Bath Half marathon and three of the Harrier's Hon Life members were amongst them.

Great running at the Harrier sponsored Babcary Road Race

There were 134 finishers at the latest edition of the Harrier sponsored Babcary Road Race on Sunday (Feb 23rd). The race was also race Number 3 in the Somerset Series 2014 sponsored by M5Glass. First man home was the Harrier's Tim Hawkins in 44.13, with 1st lady Kim Hall of Taunton AC in 50.26. Those times are pretty remarkable given how windy it was on certain sections of the course. Full postions, times ,and age-graded results are in the panel to the right of the website. Read on for more report.

Isobel 5th at Nationals; Harriers u20 mens team 9th in all England

Isobel Glaisher had a great run for 5th place at the National Cross Country Championships on Saturday (Feb 22nd) at Wollaton Park, Nottingham. She was joined by another dozen of the Harriers who stepped up to the mark to compete in these prestigious National Championships.

Long ago - back in 1988 - the Harriers started to organise the monthly 5km road race around Street. The inaugural Race Director and instigator, Clive Thomas, designed a lapped circuit in the middle of Street and the races, as always were held every 2nd Wednesday of the month between October and March. On Wednesday March 12th we will be holding the 150th edition of the races as we come to the end of our 25th Series. Will you be coming to join us?
