As if his amazing achievements of the last few years have not been enough, Wells City Harrier John Reynolds will be aiming for a World Record in May, this Olympic Year. Read how you can help with John's run on www.championrun.org.uk

John pictured here with running legend Steve Cram at the announcement of Children's Hospice South West as one of the sponsored charities for Bristol Half Marathon in October this year, along with CLIC Sargent and Steve's own charity COCO.
Having achieved local and national recognition for his fundraising runs of up to 300 almost continuous miles, John will attempt the World Record for distance covered in less than 7 days. This currently stands at 408 miles, and is held by an American; now John aims to bring the record home to Blighty.
Details of the event and what you can do to support him are shown on his website www.championrun.org.uk.

There were 79 competitors in the 6th and final 5k race of the season at Street on the evening of Wednesday March 14th. The race was No. 138 in a sequence going back 23 years, and we were able to re-crown or crown the King & Queen of Street at the Series presentations held immediately afterwards. There was also some great running by juniors in the 1k and 2k races.
