We are sorry to report that former Harrier Steve Padfield died this week in a road traffic incident close to Glastonbury. Steve was a popular member of the Harriers, taking part in many Club events and supporting his team-mates wherever possible. In addition to being a good runner, Steve was also a very keen cyclist. Our condolences to his family at this sad time.

The second of the Harrier sponsored XC matches for Years 7,8 & 9 was held on Thursday September 29th at Millfield Prep and once again there was some terrific running.

Wells Harriers are pleased to support this community event organised by the local committee.Well done to them for keeping the friendly spirit of running going in Shepton.

Great running at the Southerns

We had 7 junior teams and 5 senior/veteran teams running at the prestigious South of England Road Relays at Aldershot on Saturday & Sunday Sept 23rd & 24th. There were some great team results.
