What a great London 2012 Olympics we have witnessed and we still have the Paralympics to come. Help us grow the next generation of active and fit youngsters and who knows if one of them will go on to such heights?

Wells City Harriers is a voluntary run Club with no income from the governing bodies and we continue to look to recruit volunteers to help with:
- Coaching – especially on a Monday evening with our talented 8-16 year athletes. This would entail a two hour commitment each week inc travelling 5.30-7.30
- Team Management - we are the most successful Club at road and cross country running in Somerset if not in the region. We need team managers for every age group. We have team events once or twice a month, mainly Sept-April as we join with Yeovil Olympiads for track & field teams in summer.
- Committee roles – if you are a Member you can help the Club serving a year or two on the committee to help make decisions and take actions. The Committee meets 5 times a year.In particular we are looking for someone to volunteer to be the Newsletter editor; and other(s) to help organise occasional social events. We are also keen for new blood to 'shadow' any existing committee member so as to take over responsibilitty from the next AGM
Coach assistant courses at Tavistock September 29th/30th ; at Bristol on Oct 27th/28th ;or at Yeovil on Nov 24th/25th .
Please contact Paul Chadwick for more details or to express an interest in taking on any role.
