The final fixture in the four match cross-country League for secondary school students in Years 7,8 & 9 takes place next Thursday Nov 10th at Millfield Prep School, Glastonbury (4pm). The results of the 3rd fixture leave some medal-winning positions finely balanced.

There is a discounted offer of Club membership of £15 per adult (£30 per family) for the 6 month period to March 2012 (as opposed to annual rates of £25 and £40). We still have to pass on the £5 per member to UK Athletics for all in the family aged 11 and upwards who wish to compete before March 31st.
also remember that this entitles you to a £2 discount for race entry fees across a wide range of events.
Junior rates will stay the same as at £10 per 10 and under and £12 for age 11 and upwards. We believe that these aren’t excessive for a 6 month period (especially as many join to get the £1 discount per training session).

A reminder that applications for the club draw for the 2012 London Marathon closes at midnight on 1st November. The draw is for club menbers who have been rejected from the main ballot. Please see the article on the News page for more details.
