Congratulations to Oliver Dickinson and Luke Prior on being selected for their respective countrys to compete at forthcoming Cross Country fixtures.Oliver Dickinson learnt in mid-December that he had been selected to run for his birth country, Wales u20, in the Celtic Cup at Cardiff on 22nd January, whilst team-mate Luke Prior is to run for the England u20 team in Spain on the same day. A great achievement by the two juniors. (Ollie seen below)

Oliver gained selection by finishing 3rd at the Welsh Inter Counties on the 10th December at Penlan Arena, Brecon. the event at cardif on 22nd January is the prestigious Celtic Cup featuring teams from Scotland,Wales and Ireland. Oliver said "I'm so proud to represent my home country and all the hard work I have put in is paying off, I would like to thank all who have had input and supported me".
Luke Prior has been selected to represent England in the Elogibar Cross Country Spain on the 22nd Jan. This came off the back of Luke coming 16th at European Cross country trails. The Elogibar event has a lot of history (The Cross Internacional Juan Muguerza, also known as the Elgoibar Cross Country, is an annual cross country running competition which takes place each January in Elgoibar, the Basque Country, Spain. It is named as a memorial of local runner Juan Muguerza, a multiple national champion who was killed in 1937 during the bombing of Mungia in the Spanish Civil War.)
Luke said " I am so happy to say that I received a phone call last Tuesday night at 7.25 pm from Keith Holt junior England team manager about running for England at Elgoibar Cross Country, Spain. I want to thank all the support from family and friends from both University and Home. I am really looking forward to it."
