Fantastic weather and turn out for the 26th running of the Babcary road race, which was the second race in this year’s Somerset Series.

Wells City Harriers star performances were a stunning performance by Zak Hurrel - with a winning time of 41:37 - and a massive return to form for Graham Goldsmid to secure 3rd age graded man in a time of 49:54. Kim Clark also had a great race and earned 3rd age graded woman.

In a field of 120 there were 11 runners from Wells out running in this undulating 7.5 miles road race around quiet lanes in South Somerset.
