Any Club member planning on competing at the English Cross Country Championships on Feb 25th are advised to log on today (Wednesday) and submit their entry.

Saturday, 25th February 2012 – Venue, Parliament Hill, London 

This is just to alert you that the deadline to enter the national XC Championships is today (by e-mail) or Friday (by post). As a Club we don’t enter a team but do encourage some of our senior athletes to think about it and also some of the more talented juniors.

For juniors, February is a busy time for competitions with the schools XC Championships in full swing and so we would only suggest you consider it if you

a) feel that you want to compete at this particular event (note it is at Parliament Hill this year!) or

b) want to keep options open (at the schools events you might run a stinker due to a cold and not get through…..)

c) feel that given your Year group that the Club championships offer a better chance of doing well (I think most/all of you will know there is a difference between how the age groups are structured for Club & schools comps)

I am aware that a number of the Club's top senior men and juniors rea planning on entering.
