Frank Tickner was 6th at the McCain Cross Challenge at Liverpool on Saturday in a tight finish where only 10 seconds separated 1st, Andy Vernon, from 6th.

The first three home have been automatically selected for Team GB to compete at the forthcoming European XC Championships. Three further senior men will be selected in the next 48 hours to be part of the team.Frank has previously been selected 4 times for TeamGB to compete at the World XC Championship and is one of the Harrier's Hon Life Members.
