The final fixture in the four match cross-country League for secondary school students in Years 7,8 & 9 takes place next Thursday Nov 10th at Millfield Prep School, Glastonbury (4pm). The results of the 3rd fixture leave some medal-winning positions finely balanced.
The League was started some 5 or 6 years or so ago by the Harrier's Clive Thomas working with local schools to encourage friendly competition early in the season. It is now organised and administered by the local Mendip area secondary schools with Harrier sponsorship. Schools from frurther afield are also encouraged to enter teams or for individuals to come along and compete.The 4th fixture starts at 4pm.
