The first Harrier sponsored XC match for Years 7,8 & 9 was held on Tuesday, September 20th, and there was some terrific running. 

 

The League is organised by the local secondary schools in the Mendip area (John Etherington of Millfield Prep with assistance from othersinc Jason Allen at Millfield) with sponsorship of awards by the Harriers. There are races for Years 7, 8 & 9. Athletes from schools outside Mendip or from schools where they are not sending a team can also compete at no cost, but must complete a finish slip/envelope so that there is an accurate record of positions. Parents are invited to support their youngsters.

 

The next 3 fixtures are:

Thursday Sept 29th at Millfield Prep (start 4.30pm)

Tuesday Oct 11th at Wells Cathedral School (start 4.15pm)

Thursday Nov 10th at Millfield Prep (start 4.00pm)
