Wells City Harriers

"A FRIENDLY RUNNING CLUB THAT WELCOMES ATHLETES OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES"

Ben Lewis was first Harrier home at the Bristol Half Marathon finishing in 302nd position in the huge field.

Ben came home in a good sub-90 minute clocking and was the first of the 9 Harriers to cross the finish line amongst the thousands of competitors. Stephen Higgs was next in with John Reynolds breathing down his neck. John is already in very serious training for his next full-on endurance effort to raise funds for the SW Childrens Hospice. Mike Brown left partner Elly Milln behind but Elly was first of the Harrier women to finish, just ahead of Liz Martin who came home in the first 5,000 runners. Allan Jamieson, Mary Harrington and Caroline Moule all had good runs too.
