National Young Athletes League, Carmarthen May 16th

On the Sunday May 16^th there were a number of the juniors at the Young Athletes League meeting at Carmarthen. Matthew Dickinson and Luke Prior competed in the 1500m race with Matthew in the u15 with 1st place in 4.34 and Luke in the u13 to finish 2nd in 5.03. In both instances they were just outside their personal bests but both are showing fantastic consistency at the present time. Matthew is at number two in the national power of ten rankings following his 3000m race at last weekend’s County Championships.

There are track & field competition opportunities for junior Harriers at both the National Young Athlete League fixtures and the South West League Div 1 fixtures. Please contact team managers if you are available and see fixture list for dates.
