Street 1km & 2km races for juniors

Well done to all that raced especially given how many shoppers were out and about and how many other distractions of school activities and events to cope with. There was, as usual, some great running – not only by the front runners but also by some of the younger athletes competing for their very first time. Lucy Baldwin made it three out of three in the 1km race and has improved her time each of the three races as have the 2nd and 3rd runners (Alex & Michael). Likewise Luke Prior made it three out of three in the 2km race. No doubt they, like all others, will try to beat that time next time! Keep up the training over the Christmas period.
