Wellington Road Race –
21st December 2008
Four Harriers travelled to Wellington over the Christmas period and were amongst almost 200 runners taking part in the Monument Race, a 6.27 mile course, routed around the famous land mark and is unique in that the course has remained unchanged throughout its history.
Wells leading man in 14th place was veteran Les Lock who clocked 39.55 and was the 2nd vet 50 finisher with the team in 8th position.
Paul Knight was 33rd in 43.34, Vince Simmonds 79th in 47.42 and closing the team Nick Edwards 114th in 50.46.
