The Loch Ness Festival of Running was a fantastic event, with stunning scenery, bagpipes, and even Nessie making an appearance. The race organization was faultless with over 1,400 runners being bussed out to the start in the middle of a deserted glen and then running back down the side of Loch Ness to finish in the Inverness Athletics Stadium. Everyone really enjoyed the trip and with 7 Harriers we attracted attention from the supporters along the route. The terrain was undulating at best with a couple of hills thrown in at Miles 19 and 21.
