Wells City Harriers

In parallel to the previous weekend’s Lake district mountain marathon, another party of Harriers took off to Minehead to tackle the aptly named ‘Stagger’, a tough 17 mile multi-terrain race routed across Exmoor including the highest point, Dunkery Beacon.

It was Wells’ leading veteran Jenny Moore in 25^th position overall out of a field of 200 who headed home the Harriers with a number of category winners amongst the group. Jenny and Laurie Phippard each collected prizes as 2^nd lady FV40 and 2^nd FV35 respectively, whilst Les Lock was placed 3^rd MV 55.
