Street 5K - Race 2

Good conditions saw a few PBs on the evening.

Our second race of the series saw an impressive turnout, with 126 finishers and a fiercely competitive field at the front. Read on for the results.

Harrier junior Tom Webb emerged as the race winner, securing victory by the narrowest of margins. An outstanding seven runners broke the 16-minute barrier, including Oskar Beck, who achieved a remarkable 40-second personal best.

The first female finisher was Laura Jones of Taunton, crossing the line in an excellent time of 18:35. The evening also saw two new course records, with Philip Parry of Bristol and West setting a new MV60 benchmark at 17:45; and Oskar Beck lowering Tom Webb's u15 course record to 15.57. Philip also had the best age graded percentage on the night.

Congratulations to all the runners who took part! We look forward to seeing you at the December race on Wednesday 11th. Remember, to complete the series, you need to run five out of the six races. A big thank you to all the volunteers and race sponsors who make this event possible!
