Sedgemoor Schools Cross Country Champs Dec 2^nd 2009

On 2/11/09 at Fairfields playing fields Bridgwater, 2 of our talented u13 boys Luke Prior and Oliver Fox represented their schools, Luke of King Alfreds and Oliver of Hugh Sexeys.
           Luke was first off in the year 7 race, he ran strongly from the gun, he kept this fast pace up for the 1.5 mile course to finish 1st by a comfortable 40m.
           Oliver was next in the years 8 and 9 race, moving up this year to year 8 so a few older runners had their eyes on winning. On the gun, Oliver sat back in 5th place to move up to 1st half way around the first lap. He then pushed on to also be a comfortable winner.
Both runners qualifiy for the Somerset School Champs after Christmas, where both hope to keep up their winning ways.
