National XC Champs results

Saturday February 27^th at Roundhay Park, Leeds

Well done to the Harriers that competed at the National XC Championships at the weekend. Some great running.

There were top performances by all three that made the trek. Laura Parker was an excellent 6^th in the Junior women’s race out of the 91 finishers – well done Laura.

Anna Lewis was in the top half of the field, out of 543 in the senior women’s race, and Alastair Lindsay had a good run in a huge field of 1428 runners – awesome!

Next year we hope the National doesn’t clash with the South west schools, and that along with more effort from seniors, we can field some strong teams. The National is one of those target races we need to think about and plan for.
