Inca Trail 2008

The Inca trail race was held on Sunday 17^th Feb, held for the second year and supported by Yeovil Town Road Runners the event embraced a 7 mile , 2.9 mile , and 1 mile race along the droveways, footpaths & tracks around Ilchester with possible llama sightings on route . Frozen underfoot the rutted droves proved an extra challenge despite the sunny conditions.

3 harriers took part with Les Lock and Pete Wright lining up for the 7 mile and Tom Lock entered the 3 mile race. Tom Lock unfortunately along with other running was mis-directed and didn’t record a finish.

Les Lock ran an excellent race to finish 2^nd overall behind Paul Levick and was the winning vet 50, whilst Pete Wright crossed the line in 16^th position.
