Wells 1-2-3 at 5k race

Wells Harriers had a clean sweep at the recent Yeovil 5k race where Carl Morris ran a close race with Adrian Merriott as they clocked 15.01 and 15.07 over the flat course around Yeovilton. Their impressive times were almost matched by Wells third placed man Peter Grist yet another sub 16 mins in 15.31 the leading trio were well clear of the main field. Wells top veteran Dickie Wythe producing another outstanding run in 10^th place in 16.36 who edged out fellow team member Andrew Deamer after a close race.

The high quality race attracted a large field of almost 140 entrants the midweek event proving popular with the local clubs. Other Wells Finishers included:-
