Partnership Agreement
Between Wells City Harriers and Yeovil Olympiads
This agreement was first made in September 2000 and formally reviewed in December 2003.
The overall aim of the partnership agreement is to ensure that the two Clubs work closely together for the furtherance of athletics, and to benefit their members.
The Clubs:
The agreement requires both clubs to:
Wells City Harriers will affiliate through the South of England Athletic Association for the following athletic disciplines: Cross-country, road running & fell running.
Yeovil Olympiads Athletic Club will affiliate for Track & Field Athletics.
Each Club will adopt the other Club’s team colours as second claim colours.
Any information passed between the two Clubs will be subject to the normal provisions of the data protection act and shall only be used for the purpose intended.
On first joining one of the two Clubs as a First Claim member an individual member may indicate at that time if they wish to opt out of the arrangement with the partner Club.
Individuals will be eligible for team selection at the partner Club.
Individuals will be eligible for awards from either Club.
Individuals will be able to derive the benefits of each club according to the Constitution and membership terms of each Club. This will indicate entitlement to vote at the AGM and stand for office.
Note: It is not intended that individual members will pay additional fees for this partnership arrangement.
