Wells Harriers’ Jon James triumphed for England on Saturday November 13th when he won the Bronze medal at the Masters International Cross-country match at Dublin.
Wearing the Team England vest he ran an excellent 27.46 for 11th place overall and 3rd V45 against teams drawn from the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland. The English V45 team was 2nd overall to Ireland.
This was the second year in succession that Jon has won bronze in the same age group – emulating last year’s achievement. Jon continues to set the training sessions for the Harrier’s Tuesday training groups at Millfield track and continues to be a great inspiration to both his fellow Club seniors and the many youngsters who have been following his training schedules.
